The church is hoping to provide a place for recreation, rest and contemplation for both the congregation and the local community for all ages. The planting is aiming to help wildlife by selecting nectar-rich flowers for bees and butterflies and berry producing trees and shrubs for birds. Our youth group have built a bug hotel and plans are for more bird, hedgehog boxes and log piles. Shrubs and flowers are also chosen to provide greenery and flowers for our flower arrangers.
We are part of the Eco Church project and have won the Bronze Award.
